Aaagh… fourth time this year that Toll iPec has sent my apparel stock order on an unexpected sightseeing tour halfway around Australia. My parcels have definitely seen more of the country than I have.

Customer service says someone will call me back by the end of the day, which feels about as likely as my emotional support unicorn galloping into the depot to retrieve it personally. If the boxes turn up with postcards from Perth and a tiny fridge magnet, I won’t even be surprised anymore.

Had to generate a cartoon to alleviate my frustration I'm sure many of you can empathise. Toll Group

Some friendships really do last a lifetime. ❤️

Let me introduce you to Graham (standing) and Tim (seated), who I met at the market on Saturday.

These two have been best mates since they were 11 and 12 years old growing up in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Graham moved to Australia in the 1980s, and this year it was Tim’s turn to come here for a visit.

They spent the morning laughing their way around the market, catching up on decades of friendship… and of course ended up buying matching t-shirts from my stall as a souvenir of the trip. 😄 There was just something really lovely about seeing two old friends still having this much fun together.

I heard that there’s a big boot scootin’ gathering across the road from the Easter Saturday market. Most people would think, Oh that looks like fun, and yes, they’d be right.
