This last week has seen us say our final goodbyes to this shop space and subsequently, House2Home Kiama. It’s been the true definition of mixed feelings as we’ve wrestled with saying goodbye to the past and hello to the future. I debated posting some of these photos but this is the true, real and raw truth behind business.

This shop has been such a huge part of our life for so long which is what has made this goodbye particularly hard. Mum and Dad have worked tirelessly since we closed the doors 2 weeks ago packing up almost 25 years of business and they have well and truely earned their retirement, which as of two days ago they can now officially enjoy! I am so happy for them to finally be free from the ties of small business.

So it is only now I well and truly feel like we can say thank you. Thank you House2Home Kiama for all you have done for our family. We won’t ever forget you ❤️

Throw back to one week ago when pack up was in full swing. It’s not quite a distant memory yet as we are still trying to clean up years 20+ years worth of stuff out the back of the shop, but at least we got to be around to finally see the roof that has leaked on us for over 10 years get fixed 🙄🤪

The next couple of days will see us fully cleaned up and moved out of here. Mum and Dad have been working tirelessly over the last week and I just cannot wait for them to finally be free. The guilt I’m feeling for not being there to help them the last week has been next level. But I know I’m where they want me to be ❤️

OPENING TOMORROW! 🎈🎈🎈

This is it! Tomorrow is the day! Our first day open in our new shop! We’re so excited for you to see our beautiful new space - we’re so happy with how it has come together and just know you are going to love it too!

It’s been a massive few weeks closing up over at House2Home Kiama where we are still finishing up, as well as setting up here. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way - both physically and emotionally! The support has been overwhelmingly lovely 💖

We’ll see you in store tomorrow from 10am - 4pm!!! You’ll find us at 3/122 Terralong Street Kiama - in the back of the arcade behind Butcher’s Nook Kiama and next door to JD’s Haircare 🎈🎈🎈

Such a beautiful day in store yesterday for our last day. We couldn’t have asked for a better day to go out on. We were kept so busy with all the lovely people who went out of their way to come in and say goodbye and sent messages and comments! So grateful for you all ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for all the well wishes and the visits and the hugs. Thank you for the thank yous. And thank you for each and every one of the last almost 25 years.

We’ll probably have more to share in the coming weeks as the dust settles and we have time to reflect, but for now we pack up here and get Bunches Balloon Boutique ready to go for opening on Wednesday ✨
