Save the date - it’s a community-wide garage sale right here in Kimba! 🎈

Clear the calendar and get ready to shop – Kimba’s townwide garage sale is coming!

On Saturday, 12 September, homes and businesses around Kimba will be holding garage sales, with plenty of furniture, household items, clothing, books, toys and more up for grabs.

📍 10am–4pm
🗺️ A list of participating addresses and a map will be available from Workshop 26 from 9.30am on the day, so you can plan your garage-sale route!

💰 Bring your shopping bags, a keen eye and some cash.

Or keen to have a clear-out yourself? Registrations close 1 September and costs $10.

We’re a coffee free zone here for a few days as ourLittle Coffee Pot brews up a storm at the Eyre Peninsula Field Days.

While they’re away, grab your Main Street coffee fix at Eileen's or Kimba Cafe, and have a little wander around Kimba with a hot cuppa in hand!

Have you met Anna?

Anna has been part of the Workshop26 team since 2021, spoiling us with delicious food at events, pop-ups and special occasions while juggling farm life, a teaching career and three kids in three years.

Yep, she’s one of those epically capable, cool as a cucumber types and food is her love language (which tbh, works out really well for us!).

She shares her food adventures over at HILLVIEW PADDOCK, and she’s the one to follow for hot tips on what to pack in lunchboxes during seeding and harvest, nutritious and keep-it-real meals for little people (that of course they may or may not eat 🤦🏻‍♀️😉), and the kind of shearing smoko p**n that makes you wish you were working in the Hillview Paddock woolshed.

Most recently, Anna is stocking the fridge in our new W26 Providore with fortnightly drops of take home meals that cause people to line up outside the door before opening time.

If you’re very quick tomorrow morning, you can snap up one of Anna’s famous laksas to take home. And if not, well, better luck next fortnight 😉

We love doing what we do in this little old tractor shed: the people we meet, the fun that we have, the way this main street landmark has come back to life and what that brings to our beautiful little town.
