Held on the first Sunday of every month at the Kin Kin oval, the Kin Kin Markets showcases all that this beautiful part of the Noosa Hinterland has to offer. With carefully curated stalls that focus on locally grown and crafted artisan products, the Kin Kin Markets is the place to come for organic skincare, hemp and vintage clothing, plants, preserves and fresh produce, crystals and jewellery, handcrafted woodwork and ceramics, and so much more! It makes for a picturesque Sunday morning drive from Noosa to the lush green countryside, where there’s always live music, great coffee and food, kahuna massage and activities for the kids – it’s the perfect way to experience all that the vibrant little town of Kin Kin has to offer. We can’t wait to welcome our friends thegreenhouse.sc Native Earth Cafe back to Kin Kin when they join us at our Bush Tucker Market this Sunday, November 1.

Their menu is entirely housemade and jam packed with goodness and has been designed to showcase Australia’s incredible native ingredients, as well as, fresh local produce. All of their menu items contain bushfood, from smoothies and cold pressed juices, right through to their eats and treats - think Davidson Plum & Apple Crumble, Bush Tomato & Bacon Tarts, Saltbush & Pepperberry Hummus Salad Wraps, Kakadu Plum Green Smoothies and Raw Wattleseed Snickers Slice, just to name a few.

Their van is wrapped in a stunning art piece created by the amazing Ebony Johnson, a Sunshine Coast born indigenous artist.

With minimal environmental impact in mind, they offer discounts for BYO food and beverage containers, as well as for returned glass jars and all packaging is biodegradable wherever possible and 100% recyclable wherever not.

It’s market day! Come and celebrate all the people who grow, make, create and share their talents at our Love Local Market from 8-12 on Kin Kin oval.

And we have an extra-special welcome planned for local cyclist Lachlan Davis, who will finish his epic 24-hour, 500km ride around Kin Kin at the market around 9am. Lachlan is raising funds for Kin Kin State School P&C, so come along and help us cheer him across the finish line!

Enjoy live music from Dave Barrie and free eco-tainment for the kids with Marc & Milly from Joyology, while exploring stalls filled with local fresh produce, beef, tea, natural products, pottery, candles, jewellery, handicrafts and more.

Come meet the makers, support local and soak up our wonderful Kin Kin community vibe.

Just 30 minutes from Noosa. Make a day of it and explore Kin Kin Spring Bathhouses, Kin Kin Depot, The Kin Kin Hotel and Kin Kin Art Studio.

This Sunday at our Love Local Market, we’ll be cheering on one of our very own, Lachlan Davis, as he crosses the finish line on an incredible 24-hour cycling challenge around Kin Kin.

Starting October 3, Lachlan will take on a roughly 17km loop through our beautiful district - including several kilometres of gravel roads - with a goal of completing 30 laps and more than 500km in 24 hours!

A lifelong local, Lachlan has been cycling for nearly 20-years and currently holds the Gympie–Brisbane and Gladstone–Rockhampton cycling records.

But this challenge is about much more than cycling. Lachlan attended Kin Kin State School, his dad once drove the school bus, and now his own children are students there. He’s taking on this huge challenge to raise funds for the Kin Kin State School P&C, helping provide resources, equipment and opportunities for the children of our little school.

500km. 24 hours. Around Kin Kin. For our kids. Now that’s community spirit!

Performing live at our Love Local Market this Sunday is Dave Barrie.

Brisbane born, now Noosa based, Dave grew up with music running through his veins with his Dad a session drummer and Mum a piano teacher.

He began performing as a regular late night busker in Brisbane city straight out of high school. In the late 2000s, he recorded my debut EP ‘Don’t Break’ with now Emmy award winning producer Sean Carey.

A move to the UK shortly after and fatherhood led to a hiatus from the Australian music scene. Now settled in the beautiful coastal Australian town of Noosa, he’s back in action, writing, recording, performing and releasing music out into the world.

Sit back, relax and enjoy Dave Barrie on Sunday from 8-12 on Kin Kin oval.
