Vietnam Veterans' day commemorative service will be held 18 August @ Memorial Park, 11am. If weather is bad, commemoration will be held at the RSL hall (James St).

CFS members are today performing a guard of honour, as our fallen member Louise Hincks makes her journey from the South East, to Adelaide, following her tragic passing while fighting a fire at Coles.

Right along the route home crews will form up to pay their respects to their fallen colleague as she passes by.

For those not familiar with this area, Coles is a place near lucindale and the fire is currently burning west. Please be careful if on the road. Stay safe and watch out for wildlife.

⚬ At this time there is no threat to life or property and firefighters are attending this fire.
⚬Professional arborists have been deployed to the fire ground to assess any trees within the affected area which may be at risk of collapsing.

⚬ Drive carefully in the area as smoke may reduce visibility.
