I spend hours upon hours trawling the internet, scouring through online marketplaces and browsing through craft stores to find the most exquisite and unique papers that I use to create one of a kind cards that truly stand out. From vibrant florals to elegant stripes, I'm always on the lookout for patterns and designs that will add an extra touch of personality to my handmade creations. 📚💻

Scouring online stores for just the right lace, or unusual buttons and all the little embellishments that I include on my cards that makes them truly special and worthy of being treasured. I'm talking about intricate dies, delicate laces, paper flowers and even the occasional piece of vintage ephemera that adds a touch of nostalgia to my designs. 🎀

When an order arrives in the obligatory pizza box, IYKYK, I have to open every single thing to have a look and I mean every single thing! I turn every page of a paper pad, with design ideas jumping from every page and my mind starts racing with all the possibilities. I might decide to start creating something straight away or I might pop them away for another day, but either way, I know that I've got a treasure trove of inspiration waiting to be unleashed. 💫

A card I made for a friends birthday. It travelled all the way to Hay to attend her 60th birthday celebration as a surprise from me as I wasn't able to attend in person.
