Has anyone seen or photographed the XPT in the retro candy paint livery yet ?
I have fond memory of travelling on the brand new XPT from Maitland to Sydney back in 1982 to check out the many model train shops that used to exist in the Sydney City center that have all now gone the way of the Doddo and Tasmanian Tiger .

Today after the Shop visited an amazing OO scale Layout built by local modeller Neil Barron .
Middlesborough is aprox 6 meter by 3 meter sized figure of eight modern image model railway based on a steelmaking town in Northern England and features the impressive sight of three complete steelmaking Blast Furnaces .
Operation is via DCC with all Locomitives fitted with Sound Decoders
