Colleen's Crafts Handspun yarns, hand dyed yarns, handdyed wooltops and natural coloured wooltops, Landscape dyes, handmade, machine knitting, woven scarves.

Working from home Studio. I occasionally work with raw fleeces, fully processing them from washing, picking to carding. My supply of wool tops for dyeing and/or spinning comes from local Corriedale or Merino tops that I need to outsource. Machine knit garments and accessories, and woven scarves. Markets I attend are Nagambie Farmers Market at Tahbilk Winery, Castlemaine artists Market , Girgarre and Violet Town. See my website for full details

Just added some new yarns to the website. Also added a vest in the garment section.
The first yarn is a bit interesting. I picked up the wooltops at BWM on the way home after the The Australian Sheep and Wool Show
When I opened this pack I hadn't realised the fawny coloured fibre was not wool. Oh well, spun it anyway. Thought i would do a reasonable bulky spin. I think it could work well for some homewards eg cushions in weaving. But maybe someone out there could be interested. They are all heading to the market on Sunday at Girgarre.

It has been a battle of a year. I have been slow to update and post most of the time. I cancelled one of the markets I attend so I could visit more.
Finally after hitting a milestone of 92 years our mother Janet Tuohey succumbed peacefully on the morning of Wednesday 29th July. She is now at rest. Love you and will miss you mum xx😢💔💕

I have a couple of weeks before the next market and have been slowly updating the website before reopening.

Just letting you know, I have currently put my website in holiday mode while I get stock ready for the Bendigo Australian Sheep and Wool Show. I will be back after updating products following the Show. The shop is only open for emails and just looking, no purchases can be made directly.

A little playtime today. Wangaratta spinners and weavers held a weaving round robin workshop today. I am proud to say I did a small pattern in overshot using some yellow yarn with linen. Very happy i was able to try it out..
Tomorrow i will be at Girgarre market for mother's day.
