We’re so incredibly grateful to Johanna Griggs and the entire Channel 7 crew for coming to our home in Woodend and our business in Kyneton, and for sharing our story so generously. It was an absolute joy — and to be honest… absolutely hilarious.

Johanna — thank you for your warmth, your curiosity and for loving bees as much as we do. And to the crew — you made us feel completely at ease (even when the Macedon Ranges decided to switch on the industrial-strength wind machine).

And if you notice my hair attempting to relocate to Bendigo mid-sentence… just know it fought bravely and did its best under extreme conditions. 🌬️

Well this just got very real.

We’re incredibly grateful to Better Homes & Gardens (and the lovely Johanna!) for coming to the Macedon Ranges to share our story — from city life to permaculture, bees, and building Waggle & Forage from the ground up.

Bees changed our lives. This business changed our path. And this community made it possible.

There’s something deeply satisfying about giving bees back their own work. 🐝

We roll our foundation using pure Australian beeswax, straight from local hives.
The wax is heat-cast directly onto our embossed rollers, so the natural molecular structure stays intact. We don’t alter it — we simply clean it, then shape what the bees already know.

And the bees notice.
Honeybees will always draw comb faster and more willingly on heat-cast foundation — because it feels right, smells right, and is easier for them to work with.

No matter how you celebrate this festive season, we hope you find time to rest, laugh, and be with the people who matter most to you.

We pinch ourselves every day knowing how lucky we are to be surrounded by such an incredible community of beekeepers, food growers — and the wonderful people who work alongside us.

From us here at Waggle & Forage and Honeybee Food Co., thank you for your support.

We are taking a short break over the next 5 days, reopening on Tuesday 30th December.
