Formerly at The Leather Shop - Kyogle, visual artist Mario Sanchez has now moved his creative studio to focus on making fine art and crafts using leather and other materials. This new "Studio Sanchez" is not a retail space, instead it is a creative space where mario can put all his energy and focus into making products and artworks that are for sale on his webstores, or during shows and events

throughout the year. Mario has studied fine arts at Sydney College of the Arts, holds an advance diploma in Graphic Design from Enmore Design Centre and has over a decade working in the fields of imagery and concepts. After running a leather working business for over 14 years, he feels he has familiarised himself with leather as a media and now plans to explore it deeper into the fine arts. Also visit the etsy store to purchase some of the leather goods and works he has for sale.

Camelot the panto! Is on next weekend! Book your tickets.

I've worked along with a wonderful team of designers, builders, actors, stage managers and stage hands the last few months and have witnessed how much work goes behind the scenes, at community theatre.
We are so lucky to have these people living amongst us.

Featuring 2.5mm thick full grain cow leather, reinforced belt loops, solid brass hardware for rust resistance and completely hand stitched for strength.

These fit most sizes pocket knives from old timers, Swiss army, navaja etc.

Featuring tough 2.5mm thick full grain cow leather throughout, solid brass hardware for rust resistance, reinforced tips and completely hand stitched for maximum strength.

This long biker's wallet was Inspired by Hokusai's wave. The client wanted it in cherry/brown, which I thought was a cool take on the usual blue/white of the print.

A very fun build. This was designed from scratch, complete hand cut, carved, coloured and stitched.
