As always i look to you, my valued customers to see what I can do to offer you the products you want and love! Now - as we are back on track finalising our new designs and products after a bit of an unexpected sabbatical I have a question for my valued customers. You know I always love your opinion.
Is there any other products you’d like us to add that we don’t stock currently, not talking about specific colours but actual new products we don’t currently offer.
We are adding the following in the next drop of our new product launching over the next 12 months;
*fetlock boots for hinds
*bonnets (both in matching colours for our new pads and boots and also black and navy with soundproof ears for competition)
*leather headcollars
*name plates for head collars and browbands etc and also stable name plates (likely to be more towards end of 2025) and we are planning on having the machine to engrave and be able to apply the name plate for you on your headcollars/browbands
*PVC and possibly leather ‘build your own’ bridles where you choose the sizes of each piece to get the perfect fit, with several options of browband and noseband styles. And this time reins with LOOPS! Also trying to see if I can get thinner rubber for the reins to make them a little thinner (I personally like thin reins but love to know if you liked them as they were)
*Shetland sizes added in for saddle pads, boots and bell boots and all sizes redesigned including full redesign of saddle pads.
*competition saddle pads, plain white, white with navy and white with black single cord to match in with competition jackets (no logo on the side, H & O embroidered along the spine instead) in a lovely fabric which is a cross between a high end cotton and not satin but a fabric that has a sheen to it and feels luxurious like satin but has the durability of cotton. Finally white competition pads in genuine Shetland, small pony and pony sizes!!
I will note clothing is not something that I really want to explore. I dabbled in it when I first started and in the spirit of transparency it’s very hard to do in a saturated market and there are some fabulous companies out there that do it so well, that I feel to compete and stand out it would be well above the general price point most of my customers are wanting to spend. And it’s just not the direction I want to go in unless it was maybe one specific garment that had something special about it! So open to ideas about specifics but clothing in general (like stocking all matching base layers etc) is not really something I feel will be financially viable. Also in regards to lead ropes (I get asked about this all the time because people would love to buy a matching one for their beautiful headcollars) it’s a bit tricky as I’d need to stock way too many options to cover everyone’s desired matching colour and the quality I would want to supply would mean they need to be priced about $25 and for that price I think your better off having them custom made (yes I like to be very honest) like I have done with my own ones. Rugs is another one that’s super hard to do, the market is very saturated and the companies that do it well do it so well that I don’t feel there is room to compete so doing snow sets etc is not really an option.
As always I really value your feedback and would love any suggestions on any new products you’d like to see that we don’t already carry or aren’t on the list for our re-launch!
