⚔️ Here's a sneak peek at just some of the entertainment, activities and attractions planned for the Huon Valley Medieval Festival & Renaissance Fair!

With so much happening across the weekend, we wanted to share some of the experiences currently planned to help everyone get excited for what's to come.

Both Saturday and Sunday will run a very similar schedule, so regardless of which day you choose to attend, you won't miss out on the core festival experience.

We're also excited to be offering a huge range of family friendly entertainment, with the vast majority of children's activities included FREE with your entry ticket.

We're still finalising the full schedule and have plenty more announcements to make, but here's a glimpse of what you can look forward to across the festival weekend. 👇

For so long I thought that the only way I could have jewelry I don't react to and could clean without damage was to use either silver or gold but that's just simply not true! This is me cleaning darkened + dull stainless steel with simply baking soda, water and aluminium foil.
Here's the step by step:

Firstly get a pot and fill it a quarter of the way with water and put it on to boil. Once the pot is at a rolling boil layer some aluminium foil on top and secure by wrapping around the lip of the pot.

Now that you have this foil contraption place your jewelry in the foil and COVER with baking soda. When I say cover I mean I don't want you to be able to see any jewelry cover.

Once the baking soda is covering the jewelry get a skewer and poke some holes in the foil, this will let the water flood the baking soda and it will start bubbling and fizzing. Depending on how dirty you might even see the grime in the bubbles like mine 🫢

Leave the jewelry to sit in the baking soda for about 30 seconds (you can go longer but you shouldn't need it if you covered the jewelry correctly) and viola! The jewelry is perfectly clean without the elbow grease.

Shake out any excess water and leave the jewelry out on a microfiber cloth to soak up all the water and air dry. This step is VERY important. Don't put your jewelry away until all of the water is gone or else it will start to darken again. Use this technique to get all the grime out of those impossible to reach chainmail connections and your piece will be shiny for a lifetime 🖤

CAUTION! don't use this technique on any pieces that have other materials like pearls or shells as it will ruin the finish! Stainless steel or silver ONLY

Finally getting around to posting this insane custom set ❤️‍🔥
This set was also my first ever larger art trade and I couldn't be happier!! This set includes two necklaces, two bracelets and two pairs of earrings and was designed for all the pieces to be able to be worn together or seperately. I combined the elements of the hypnos bracelet + simple layering choker in the layered necklace as well as making a pair of earrings to match the weaves on the barbed bracelet. Truly had so much fun creating this set and I can definitely say I have a new favourite design 🫢
