Today, Labor’s proposed caps were blocked in the Lower House.

I want to sincerely thank every Member of Parliament who listened to the concerns of Tasmanians and made the right decision today.

This is a WIN for our law-abiding licensed firearm owners, including primary producers, farmers and recreational hunters across Tasmania, who stood up and made their voices heard.

To everyone who contacted MPs, shared our message and stood alongside us, thank you. This is your WIN too.

Common sense prevailed today, and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Have you registered for next weekend’s two-day Sports Hut Launceston FGA Tasmanian State Championships yet?

We’re encouraging everyone planning to join us to register beforehand. It helps speed things up at the office and gives our volunteers a better idea of how many people to expect over the weekend.

And just like our regular events, you don’t have to be an FGA member to take part. All licensed competitors are welcome, so come along and enjoy a great weekend of shooting with us!

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our valued customer and friend, Albert.

If you’ve ever had the privilege of purchasing one of these antler trigger sticks, they were lovingly handmade by Albert. His craftsmanship and character will leave a lasting mark on the Sports Hut community.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Albert. You will be deeply missed. 🕊️
