VENUE UPDATE

We're so excited to announce the new home of our Behind Closed Drawers preloved clothing markets!

The Launceston Conference Centre at Door of Hope has come to the rescue, and will now be our regular venue.

Our first market at the new location is locked in for Saturday 12th September from 11am-2pm.

We're so grateful for your patience and support while we've navigated this change, and can't wait to see you at next month's market!

Stallholder bookings will open this Wednesday 5th August at 6pm via www.behindcloseddrawers.com.au.

New dates for the remainder of 2026 will be announced in a few weeks time, so stay tuned!

A quick venue update!

Unfortunately we won't be running a market for July or August while we work to relocate to a new home.

The good news is we're currently in the process of locking in another space, with everything looking on track for a fresh start from September!

We should have a proper announcement in the next few weeks! Thanks so much for your patience and for sticking with us through this. 💕

We're heartbroken by the decision from the Catholic Parish of Launceston to close St Ailbe's Hall from mid-July.

St Ailbe's has been our home for the better part of 10 years, and we're devastated we can't continue to host our markets there.

Please know, this absolutely doesn't mean the end of Behind Closed Drawers, and we're dedicated to finding a new venue to host our preloved clothing markets for years to come.

We're thankful to the parish for being so good to us over the years, and understand this can't have been an easy decision.

I'm sure there's an analogy here about giving things a second life (lol) but we're too sad to think of one right now. 😭

We found out about the closure the day before last weekend's market, so we're still looking into alternative venues so we can keep things running.

Please bear with us as we figure out our next steps. At this stage, we're unsure whether we'll be able to hold a July market, but we'll keep you posted here as soon as we know.
