Megalong Books is an independent book shop located in Leura, in the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia on the lands of the Darug and Gundungurra people. As well as a large selection of fiction and non-fiction books on all subjects, and our very popular children's book section, we carry a wide variety of books about the Blue Mountains, including titles on its history, guides to bushwalks and local flora and fauna and photographic books, among others. With our highly experienced and friendly staff, and our famous special order service, remember to visit the shop on your next visit to the Blue Mountains.

Last night, we were fortunate enough to attend the launch of The World Beneath Her Feet, the brand new novel by best-selling author Holly Ringland, at Varuna, the National Writers’ House.
It was a lovely night, celebrating the new book, and chatting with Holly (our favourite part!!) and enjoying Varuna’s new community building.
