'Horsedrawn carriage* in front of Blackall Monument, Ipswich, c.1900.
Governor Blackall was the second Governor of Queensland from 1868-1871. The memorial was a drinking fountain and built in 1879. It would be moved to the corner of Outridge Street and Chelmsford Avenue, Denmark Hill, Ipswich in 1927 when the traffic became too busy around Nicholas and Brisbane Streets.
