Blue skies, music in the air, tasty food cooking, lots of friendly chatter and plenty of stalls to wander around, what a fabulous day out at the Lilydale Village Market. From talking tomatoes with Vince and Shane to warm socks with Tina, there was a real buzz in the air. To the Lilydale District Progress Association volunteers who make the market happen, thank you for all the work you put in behind the scenes to foster this fabulous celebration of community and connection. If you haven't visited yet, pop the next market on your calendar - it’s scheduled for Sunday, September 13. I’m looking forward to it!

A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR INCREDIBLE STALLHOLDERS, FOOD VENDORS, TALENTED MUSICIANS, WORKSHOP ORGANISERS AND VISITING COMMUNITY GROUPS! We had a wonderful mix of returning and new stalls, and it was great to see so much handmade talent. What an honour to have you all join us in Lilydale.

THANK YOU to Kim Schneiders and all the school kids from Lilydale District School who made lovely paper snowflakes for us to decorate our hall!

SUPER HUGE THANKS goes to all our amazing volunteers who help with things like set up, pack up, the raffle etc. Just incredible generosity and dedication!
