This month, Roz & Graham brought their social meet-up over to our side of the mountains, and what a wonderful morning it was!

🌅 A sunrise visit to the spectacular Hassan’s Walls Lookout
☕ A delicious breakfast at Hartley House Cafe
🍭 And a sweet visit to us here at The Lolly Bug!

We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful support and promotion that Roz and Graham have given to us, and to so many other local businesses, since the highway closure.

Their commitment to getting people out and about, exploring our beautiful area and supporting local businesses has made such a difference. ❤️

We’re excited to let you know that Lolly Bug lollies are now stocked at the Zig Zag Railway’s Top Points Station! 🎉

All trains stop at Top Points during the day for a short break while the train switches direction. It’s the perfect opportunity to hop off, stretch your legs, take a stroll around, enjoy the spectacular viewing platform, browse the shop… and, of course, grab yourself a Lolly Bug sweet treat! 🍬🍫

Our Lolly Bug trailer is still open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, ready to welcome you at the beginning and end of your Zig Zag Railway adventure! 🍬❤️

🌸 Spring is the perfect time to step back in time and enjoy a magical day aboard the Zig Zag Heritage Railway. There’s something pretty special about riding this historic railway through the beautiful Blue Mountains.

We’d also like to say a very special thank you to the team at the Zig Zag Railway for welcoming the Lolly Bug over these past few months. You’ve made us feel so at home that we feel like part of the family. 💛

💜 FUDGE FOR A CAUSE 💜

From now until the end of September, $1 from every sale of our Lolly Bug wrapped fudge at both our Little Hartley store and our Zig Zag Railway trailer will be donated to support a very important cause — domestic violence awareness and support.

For the second year, we are proud to be donating through the ‘Riding Free from DV’ fundraiser.

Recently, the amazing Riding Free from DV team completed another hugely successful horse trail ride through the beautiful Megalong Valley, bringing together their love of horses, the great outdoors and their commitment to raising much-needed funds and awareness around domestic violence.

We are incredibly proud to play a small part in supporting their efforts. 💜

Through September if you’re treating yourself to some delicious Lolly Bug wrapped fudge, you’ll know that $1 of your purchase is helping make a difference.

💗 The oldest member of the Lolly Bug family! 🍬

Meet my beautiful 96-year-old mum — and quite possibly the original inspiration behind The Lolly Bug! 🥰

Growing up, Mum always had a great selection of lollies in the office of my parents’ trail riding business. A little bit of sugar was apparently just what those horse riders needed to keep their energy up! 😂🍭

Looking back, maybe that’s where I got the idea to start my own lolly shop all those years later. ❤️

Mum has been a lifelong lover of liquorice — any and every kind! So, of course, I had to introduce her to chocolate-coated Allsorts, combining two of her favourite things: liquorice and chocolate! 🍫🖤

At 96, Mum is still going strong. 💕 Now the big question is… does a lifelong love of liquorice have anything to do with it? 😂

I think we may have just discovered the secret to longevity! 🍬❤️
