We’ve also been victim of counterfeit and it hurt us dearly as we are a small business. Please do not be offended if we check your notes for their security features as we have had many attempts in the past few months.

[📢 PSA]: Attempted use of fake $50 notes in .

ℹ️ A shopkeeper reached out to us tonight, asking if we could warn the community about counterfeit money.

Two teenage boys were seen on security cameras, trying to make a purchase with these fake $50 notes.

❗️ If you have a shop in the local area or know someone that has a shop, please share it with them so they are aware. Shoppers should also pay attention if they get change of a $50 note.

👮‍♂️ If you're given a fake note, please notify the Police immediately. Don't attempt to re-use the fake note yourself, or that next PSA we receive from a shopkeeper, might be about you!
