Lobethal local!!!

This week is National Youth Volunteer Week. So, today we are recognising the young volunteers who make a difference in their brigades and communities and the important role they play in shaping the future of the CFS. 🧡

From 6–10 July, 11 young volunteers took part in our annual Urban Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Week, completing nationally recognised training, building their operational and leadership skills, and forming strong connections with others from across the state.

We'd like to congratulate Clint Zadow, who received the 2026 Urban YAC Week Leadership Award. Clint stood out for his positive attitude, teamwork and willingness to support others throughout the week.

Congratulations to all Urban YAC Week participants and thank you to our young volunteers for the contribution you make to the CFS every day. 🌟
