🌺 A Very Proud Moment for Chookky 🌺
What an incredible honour to see one of our beautiful handcrafted salusalu being worn by the Honourable Prime Minister of Fiji, Sitiveni Rabuka, during the celebrations for Fiji Airways’ inaugural Nadi to Gold Coast service launch last week.
Our salusalu are lovingly handmade in Fiji by talented Fijian women, preserving a tradition that has been passed down through generations. Here in Australia, I carefully touch up and prepare each piece before it finds its new home, ensuring every salusalu is presented with the love, care and quality it deserves.
Seeing one of our creations featured at such a significant occasion, alongside the wonderful Fiji Airways cabin crew, was a proud moment not only for Chookky, but also for the amazing women in Fiji whose craftsmanship makes it all possible.
