Good Cases for large brass instruments today are hard to find and not to mention quite expensive. A euphonium and tuba case new can range from $1000 to $1500 AUD. We just finished to stainless steel guards that have redefined these two cases. They were extremely damaged on all the bell curves. Hours of painstaking effort when they are individually made and not mass produced.

I have had this 30 year old trumpet for about 12 months. It is a rare Bach 37 with a solid silver bell. It was in very poor condition with patchy lacquer, extremely worn out valves, very loose slides, lots of small dents and surface corrosion. The bell was savagely crunched in one area. It has pushed me to limits with many many hours of painstaking effort to restore this one. The valve casing and leadpipe section I have plated in rose gold, and the slides and caps, silver plated. Just all polished metal no lacquer on this. The valves have received high precision re engineering to less than .001" tolerances. Slides are now tight but free. Tons of compression. This instrument has lots of energy and plays like a dream. Sorry not for sale, customer custom order. When it was finished I put it on a stand, grabbed a chair and just sat looking at it. Thinking through all things done and realizing that most people would not have a clue. I will never forget a customer that thought we just dip it in a chemical and they come out like new. Ha
