WHO ARE THE MCGRATH FOUNDATION?
IGA has partnered with the McGrath Foundation for 16 years raising vital funds
through the IGA Community Chest program.
For 20 years, the McGrath Foundation has given their all to supporting people with breast
cancer and have recently extended their care to all cancers.
The McGrath Cancer Care Nurses are made up of a passionate group of people who offer
support to people and their families experiencing cancer throughout treatment, for free and
without a referral.
They provide:

Emotional support -
Offering cancer care expertise and addressing questions while managing individual needs.
Continuity of care

Clinical care - -
provide a central point of contact for cancer patients and their family through treatment.
Expert clinical care at any stage of treatment

Patient advocacy -
A team of multidisciplinary experts collaborate to ensure the best possible treatment is provided and
advocate with and for the patient through situations to ensure care remains centered around the patient's needs. Including information and advice, and family support
