So I've been a little preoccupied...... Amongst selling Antiques from the Barn and getting the fruit trees ready, and tending to my garlic patch. Fertilising pruning weeding etc.. as well as out and about finding new stock too...... with our next house build. This is where my time goes in between everything, helping my husband with our next venture. Building our Barndominum. After 1 year and 7 months, getting the DA passed, we have now made a start.

Up early this morning getting organised for the first council inspection on the outside trenches before they are poured with concrete. 🙏😊 The foundations to an exciting journey creating our 3rd home. All designed.. and built by us.

Update for slight change... Please read.
This change is aimed at thinning out the people that don't show or come out thinking it's a garage sale and dont purchase anything, with unrealistic expectations, of some which do not realise we are in farm land here and farms may not be their thing.

After I've spent a few hours getting ready and setting up etc... not showing because someone decided to stay in bed from not feeling well and not letting me know.. which happens a lot, is the kind of ongoing thing that has led to my decision. And also to take pressure away from my everyday life, as I also grow produce here and have other responsibilities that I need to allocate time to. With this change I gain more productive solid time to get on-top of my huge pile of restoration projects, and can prep for my Vintage market in Qld with out too many crazy interruptions resulting in not much achieved.

If you have been a regular customer who supported me, you are always welcome, just let me know if you'd like to visit. More than happy to accommodate you. If you are a business that have been buying stock from me, for your shop, you also are more than welcome. ATM the Barn is fully stocked. And if you are genuinely after Antiques and have looked at my pages and website and love my style and respect that this is a business.. you also are more than welcome. . Just let me know.

Amongst everything I juggle, me and my husband are physically building our Barndominum, which has now finally been approved and we are now digging the footings. Which has taken 1 year and 7 months DA approval. Exciting to see it take form. So I also needed to free up time to build our home.

So.. I'm still here. I'm still going to be selling item's online. And at select markets. And while I have wares to sell, I'm happy to have people out that I know, and that are genuinely wanting to purchase Antiques, and are chasing certain items that I may have. But at a slower pace. Looking forward to being productive. ☺️🌻
