Quirkeycots are Australian Premium Dried Apricots locally grown, processed and packed by the Quirke family on their orchards. Quirkeychocs are made from 100% Australian Dried Apricots with no added sugar! The Quirke family began its dried fruit heritage in the Clare Valley over 100 years ago. Now 3 generations have been growing and producing dried fruit in the sunny Riverland, South Australia.

We always appreciate when customers take the time out of their day to let us know they love our products!

We never get sick of hearing this although it is easy to understand why people prefer ours once they taste them, ours ARE NOT full of sugar and imported fruit. Our Quirkeychocs are 100% Australian Dried Apricot centres, there is nothing else added, they're then coated in a premium milk or dark chocolate.

Orchard Update 🍁
Post harvest we have filled up the tree stores with our post harvest fertilisation schedule, this ensures the trees have all the nutrients they need in order to set them up for a good fruiting year ahead with enough energy for growth and fruiting buds.
Our deciduous trees now are going through the next stage of browning leaves and leaf fall which we all know as Autumn, this process happens in order for the trees to start accumulating their winter chill hours which is needed for our stone fruit to set fruit buds.
This time of the year on the orchard is a lovely well earned slower period where we focus on the orchard maintenance like mowing in between the rows (this patch it isn't necessary) and any of those odd jobs that have been left from busier periods.
I interrupted Nero's walk with these photos, because look at those colours!

What does this cooler weather mean? Yes our CHOCOLATES are LIVE ON OUR WEBSITE again woo!

We were sent these incredible images (with permission to share) and it made our week! Some of our amazing customers bringing our delicious SA chocolates on their o/s trip ❤️ this! We wonder where our chocs will end up next 🤔.

🍑 Meet The Quirkey Team 🍑

We'd like to introduce you to Billie!

Billie mainly helps out during the school holidays along side Mitch, she helps with sorting, packing, and packaging of our cots and chocs. When school has finished for the summer school holidays Billie is relied upon to teach some of the new comers the best techniques on the cutting machines. Billie is the 2nd of her siblings to work for us and this year she will be joined by her two sisters.

Billie's favourite product is our milk Quirkeychocs, she said. They taste nice and apricoty with the yummy chocolate which go really well together.

🌳🍑 Orchard Update 🍑🌳

Harvest is officially underway! 🚜 Despite the rain delay pushing our start date, we're in full swing now. Fingers crossed for clear skies ahead, so we can keep the harvest momentum going. It's a busy time for us, but we're excited for to see all the hard work pay off.
