Great news!!! Our new carpet is laid and we are all ready to throw open the doors tomorrow. We would like to thank all our amazing volunteers for their hard work during this time, it looks really fantastic. We would like to encourage you all to drop in and have a look at our shop after it's facelift. Thank you all for your patience and once again thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it happen.

Hello Facebook friends. There is lots of excitement in our little shop at the moment as we prepare to have new carpet laid. Unfortunately it means we will have to be closed from 19th May and re-opening on the 31st May. We are sorry to have to be closing but are looking forward to welcoming eveyone back after our shop has it's facelift.
We would also like everyone to hold on to any donations during this time as we will be quite busy with the re-arranging to allow the carpets to be installed.
Once again our apologies but we can't wait to welcome everyone back on the 31st.

Hello Facebook friends. Next week (3rd - 8th April) we are having a $5 bag of clothes sale. Bring in your supermarket shopping bag and fill it with clothes for $5, everything else will be half price. You wont want to miss this opportunity for bargains. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Hello Facebook friends, great news, our fantastic Half-Price sales are back for 2023. Our first sale will be commencing Monday 6th February. For those who are new to our sales, they commence on the Monday and run for the entire week. All items are half-price, excluding some marked items. This is a perfect time to grab some friends for a day trip to the Barossa Valley and pick up some bargains along the way. I have attached some photos to wet your appetites. We look forward to seeing you soon.

To all our wonderful Facebook friends. Apologies for the late notice but we will be closing our shop from today 16 Dec 2022 until 9 Jan 2023. Our volunteers have been working hard this year and are looking forward to a well deserved break.

From all of us here, we wish you and your families and friends the most wonderful, safe and happy Christmas/New Year, no matter how you celebrate, and look forward to seeing you ll again in 2023.

Thank you for all your amazing support throughout the year. We would ask that all donations be kept until we return in the new year so as to avoid problems associated with items being left outside for long periods.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the recent passing of Derry Hall. Many of you will remember Derry as the face of the Op-shop and an almost permanent fixture in the shop for many years. She worked tirelessly both in the shop and behind the scenes and her greatest joy was being able to see customers leave with a smile when they visited. Our thoughts are with her family and friends and with all the people who were touched by her kindness, She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Derry.

Happy Easter to all our Facebook friends. We will be closed over the Easter break from close of business on Thursday and re-opening on Tuesday. We hope you all have a wonderful Easter and enjoy the time (and Easter Eggs) with family and friends. We hope to see you all when we re-open after the break.

Happy New Year to all our wonderful Facebook friends. Just as we were looking forward to opening our doors again, we have had to postpone. Due to the number of Covid cases in the Barossa and the large amount of donations received over the break we will be delaying the re-opening for another week, this will allow us to understand the Covid situation a little better and also sort through so many new items. We apologise to anyone who is inconvenienced but we do look forward to seeing everyone once we open on the 17th. Hopefully we can re-open on this date and we will be posting any changes to this date on our page so stay tuned.

Sadly we have come to the end of another year and our little shop is closed until the new year. We would like to say thank you to all of our customers and Facebook friends for your custom, support and of course all of the wonderful donations through 2021, without which would not be here.

Unfortunately we have had some of the donations rummaged through and scattered all over the pavement. For this reason we would like to remind everyone to only drop off items during shop hours so that we can prevent this happening. It is also timely to remind everyone that we are unable to accept electrical items and items of furniture. We have also recently had some items dropped off which have had to go straight in the bin and while we are grateful for all of our donated items, our volunteers spend a large amount of time sorting through and throwing away items that are just not saleable. Items of clothing that are badly stained or torn and general items which are obviously broken unfortunately end up in the bin.

With all of that said, we would love to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. One that is safe, healthy and happy and spent surrounded by friends, family and loved ones.

We can't wait to see you all again next year.
