Good day Gardeners!!!
Well, we have been absolutely blown away by the response from everyone since we announced our planned closure. So many people have left us wonderful, heartwarming comments; people have come down to the garden centre to share their memories and give us their love and regards. It’s brought tears of joy to have people proudly showing off photos of their gardens and thank us for our help along the way.
We’ve had the very first customers come in to wish us well, and so many people come to buy plants and garden products, even when they probably didn’t really need them - just to support us.
When we made the decision on Monday evening, after many long conversations, to close down our garden centre, we thought we would spend the next few weeks selling down our remaining stock. Instead, in four days we have nearly been cleared out!
So tomorrow (Saturday 8th) will be our last day open. There are very few plants left, but what we have is just $3 a plant. There are also still some fungicides, pesticides, garden tools, pots and plenty of sprinklers and watering knick knacks (please see attached pics). So please,
if there is anything you need, or if you would just like to catch up with Loida, come down between 9am-Midday tomorrow.
Once more, we just would like to thank you all for allowing us to be part of a magical community of gardening enthusiasts, and we look forward to catching up and chatting with you when we meet by chance around town.
