Papier Mache starts in a week!

August is the cold & windy month, so come and spend your Sunday afternoons at the Nook learning all about the wonderful artform of Papier Mache.

You'll be guided and supported to make something of interest to you (images are just examples), all while enjoying hot cuppas and afternoon tea with a handful of other creatives.

School Holidays Kids Classes are nearly here!

⭐️ Handmade Papermaking & Journals ⭐️
Learn to make paper from recycled materials, how to add fun extras like confetti and cotton, and how to bind paper into a little journal with a decorated cover.
➡️ Tues 7th & 14th July
➡️ 11:30am to 1pm
➡️ $70 (ages 8+)
➡️ Workshop is two sessions and kids must attend both. Fee covers both sessions.

⭐️ Wet Felted Treasure Bags ⭐️
Learn how to turn colourful fluffy wool into a felted, functional bag.

⭐️ Freestyle Clay ⭐️
Make a cup, jar, potion bottle or simply an awesome sculpture out of clay!

Art Play is coming up fast again!

Immersive colourful, tactile and messy art play for 2 to 5 year olds. A 1.5hr session where your little one can freely follow their artistic curiosity (and then you walk away from the mess).

Friday 24th April
10am to 11:30am
Valla Reserve

Unsure what to expect? Each monthly themed session offers 3 to 4 open-ended art play experiences. An individual artwork (something to take home), and 2-3 collaborative projects. All materials provided, and we host it in the park so kids can dip in and out of the art play and move their bodies as they need. A quiet area is also provided for snack breaks and pause.

This month, Adult's Variety Class was all about oil pastels!

We had so much fun playing with these vibrant and creamy sticks of pigment! A rekindled LOVE of this medium for the whole room. I only wish my phone could translate the epic range of colours and detail in each of these paintings. 🤩 These truly GLOW in real life.

If you haven't picked up an oil pastel since childhood... run out and get some today. So. Much. Fun!

Second run of our Needle Felted Frog workshop is starting this week! Here's some photos of last workshop - we couldn't resist a photoshoot at the end, which had us all cracking up laughing! 🤣

Two consecutive Wednesday nights:
11th & 18th February
