Do you remember receiving letters in the mail? Analogue style?
I’ve created a snail mail circle - Letters from the Bay - beginning with a handwritten letter from me. 💌
The hope is to create a gentle circle of connection through real letters, written slowly and sent through the mail. 📮
A small pause from screens. 📱
A reason to sit with pen and paper.
A quiet way to connect with another person.
If you join, I will send the first letter from the Bay. And if it feels right, you are invited to write back.
That is the heart of it really - old-fashioned pen pal connection, shared slowly, one letter at a time.

I have wanted to make socks fo years. But I have been too scared. 😟

I’m new to knitting so I knew knitting socks was hot where my skills are at. Yet.

But I do know how to crochet and I love the granny stripe. 🫶

When I found this pattern by I knew I had to try the pattern which did, and l loved making these socks. 😍

They are perfectly imperfect and l’m so pleased I can finally enter the Winter Sockstice Festival! 🧦
The socks have been sent off today so I hope they arrive in time 🤞

This big chunky blanket has been purchased today & that makes me soooo happy. Why? That means that some lovely soul out there is learning how to crochet, which means they are going to learn the importance of being creative + how this can have a positive impact on their whole life 🫶
And they are supporting a small Aussie owned business = me 😌

A small useful knit for little ones 🫶
I’ve been working on a little collection of hand-knitted baby beanies, made slowly with soft natural Australian merino yarn.
There is something I love about simple baby knits - the kind of pieces that feel practical, gentle and made with care.
A little beanie to keep a tiny head warm, to tuck into a newborn gift, or to become part of a keepsake box.
The finished baby beanies are now in my Etsy shop in premmie/newborn and 0-3 months sizes. I have lots of colours available too. 🌈

And for makers, the printable baby beanie knitting pattern is there too, if you would like to make your own. 🧶
Small stitches, soft yarn, and useful handmade things - always my favourite kind of making.
