We are so excited to introduce our first independent author Jules Dalla-Libera Author 🫶

Jules has written an intriguing fantasy-romance with Scottish mythology, high stakes, fast burn and witch trials.

Think ACOTAR meets Outlander with a strong female main character.

This has gone immediately to the top of my TBR pile and book two and three are on the way so I cannot wait to get stuck into this trilogy.

Last night we attended the Maitland libraries Sydney Writers Festival event. It was a great event and glad to see so many fellow book lovers supporting the great work the team at ML are doing 📚

We even managed to win the trivia and got some fabulous bookie prizes 🥰

It was also delightful to meet author Emma Grey and hear her story about grief, why she writes and who she writes for.

Hello again book lovers 📚

Mum has an appointment this afternoon and will need to close the store at 3pm.

I have expressed to her my disappointment and I have now placed the booksitter on a performance improvement program as this is not acceptable to inconvenience our customers this way.

😂😂 joking I could never. Kathy is the backbone of the store!

As you know Kathy is a very hard worker and sometimes you just can’t avoid an appointment during working hours. We do our best to avoid these disruptions. Sorry to anyone planning to come see us this arvo.
