SELLING MY COMPLETE COLLECTION OF SOLID OPALS, RINGS, AND PENDANTS FROM THE MINES OF LIGHTNING RIDGE, COOBER PEDY, MINTABIE AND OTHERS! Prices reflect quality and size!
All Solid cut and polished by 'yours truly.
There are well over 400 items. Many are listed on my other page Opals from Gemni ( note Gemni not Gemini!)
Must of the early opals were from the Coober Pedy area before I moved on to Lightning Ridge and other mine areas. All were purchased in the rough directly from the miners on my numerous trips there.
Some years ago I started making doublets from the thinner rough stones. For the effort and income from them it really wasn't worth it so decided to did continue. Now's your chance to pick up these at a fraction of the cost of solid stones. They still look superb when set in Gold, Silver etc. Remember that the opals have been bonded to potch, colourless opal, so if setting these don't immerse in liquid as this could result in a loosening of the bond.
* Ask for video of interested as photos may show light reflection and some dust on the stones!
CARATS OF STONE AND PRICE ARE SHOWN IN PHOTOS. Discounts available if buying more than one stone!

* Note based in Maldon Victoria. Quite happy to come locally to you or meet if you are interested in these or other items. ( Don't sell from the house for obvious security reasons).
