Hailing from Geelong and the Surf Coast are THE RORTS, whose debut single is a ripper. If you buy digital from bandcamp there are four songs available. Bass player DALE dropped off some copies of their vinyl record which of course sounds as good as you would imagine coming from that part of the world! They have a launch for the record at THE TOTE on Sunday 2nd August from 3:00pm so get along and check 'em out. Sloth recommended. 🦥😀

One of the best things about our Sydney visit was getting copies of the brand new JANE DOES album, featuring our mate Matt Allison on guitar. If you like pop inspired garage rock with female vocals then this LP is for you. We have copies available at the shop but be quick. Also it would be remiss of us not to thank Kevin and Dorian once again for a great effort in putting on the third TOP SHELF RECORD FAIR. It was an event where just about everybody found something to their liking and featured a roomful of very knowledgeable and friendly dealers and collectors alike. Looking forward to the next one. 😀🦥

Down to the final boxes for the trip to TOP SHELF RECORD FAIR which is in Sydney this Sunday, 26.7.26. Amongst the records on our stall will be some rare titles from several genres in pretty nice condition. We reckon it will be a top effort from all the sellers involved to pull this room full of collectable records together and our hat is of to Kevin and Dorian for making it happen. The race is on to pull out and pack a lot of more collectable stuff for THE TOP SHELF Record Fair at IMAR COMMUNITY HALL, 2A Fitzroy Street, Croydon NSW on SUNDAY JULY 26, 9AM - 3PM.

Last night saw a great show from THE STRIKE OUTS launching their new album at the The Old Bar. Today SIMON and ADAM paid us a visit and found some records to their liking, at least enough to take back north of the border. We had a good chat about the show and if you are in GEELONG tonight go and catch them at MEDUSA BAR. Highly recommended by the Sloth!! It's that time of the year again!
Here's a quick heads up to our friends and customers that we will again be offering some pretty rare records for sale that will take place in Sydney on SUNDAY, JULY 26th.

Last year was the first time in over 25 years that we sold our records at a Sydney Fair so we're thrilled to be returning so soon.
There will be many stall holders who make this event a major priority in the record convention calendar with enough highly collectables records to satisfy any collector's appetite.
