Black pearls baby! Not exactly black but every colour in the rainbow 🌙 just as our white pearls are iridescent, light and bright; our black pearls are the dark side of the moon, shine bright my pretties!
This chunker is made in a choker style to sit upon the collarbone, with gold and apatite spacers, and a gold plated organic shaped toggle clasp.
Only one of these babies on hand right now, it will be added to my website along with some other goodies in the next few days 🌒

Sometimes I get a cool shell and bring it out on my work desk and stare it at for a long time, don’t come up with anything good and then put it away only to bring it out again a few months later to stare at it again. Finally inspiration hit with this one and I began draping pearls and chains from the little nature made holes in the paua (aka abalone to non-kiwis!)
This piece is truly one-of-a-kind (just like you). I’ve added it online to my rather empty online store. I hope to add a few more special pieces to the store in the next two weeks!

Ok I think we all know it’s best to shop AKWA in person at the markets as I’m no good with screen time and uploading new products to the website, even doing regular posts on here 🫣 however I have just added these special earrings, handmade with gold stainless steel shells, chain and freshwater pearls. I’ll be slowly adding new special one-off pieces to the website and I’ll keep y’all posted on here!
