The CHERRY ON TOP THRIFT SHOP is an upcycled boutique with ALL THE FRUIT! I have always been a lover of antiques and vintage styles. As a young person I was always ferreting around in antique stores and markets looking for treasures and often getting into trouble for bringing home "junk" from the thrift store of country town I had just driven through. At some point in life I discovered the market
shop at the Balcatta Tip. The lady there pulled whatever she wanted off the trailers of Rubish people were dropping off and sold it for peanuts in her shop! People like me (and my mum) would come along and pay those peanuts and then upcycle it to keep or to sell. It wasn.t long before the thrill of the hunt and the thrill of the find had me following the garage sale trails and the
"Junk Out" council verge collections for a fix! These days I buy and Sell through Auction houses and through Marketplace or Ebay. With a love for vintage clothing, costumes, music, movies, theatre and collecting all kinds of cool treasures, I think you will find ( in time) there will be something here for everyone! All items can be viewed by appointment. Most items are for sale, however some party equipment
(sound and lighting) is for hire only and some costumes/vintage clothing/ball gowns have hire or buy options.
