About the Queensland Kids Fishing Classic:

A fishing comp just for kids!
Sam Beckmann from 2 Bent Rods started the Qld Kids Fishing Classic with the aim
to encourage more kids to put their devices down and spend time enjoying our
great outdoors.
It was meant to be a yearly competition but the feedback from both parents and
kids has been fantastic. As a result the QKFC is now on every school holidays.
Kids making new friends, some left their bedrooms for the first time in ages,
friendly competition between friends. For some it was the planning on which
species to target, how to go about it and beating their PBs. And for others, it was
all about the prizes.
It’s for kids of all ages and abilities to fish at their own leisure, join in, make friends,
be part of the fun and maybe win a prize or 2!
Kids can live and fish anywhere in Queensland, so even if you go on holidays (in
Qld) the kids can still be involved.

How to Register:

To register for the Qld Kids Fishing Classic, you need to download the 2 Bent Rods app, create an account, and enter your details or your children's details into the app. Once registered, you'll select the QQKFC event and pay the entry fee, ensuring you purchase a ticket for each child under their name.
