The abrupt closing of the West Coast Demersal Fishery has destroyed the livelihoods of many Western Australian families.

I am very fortunate that Cape Tackle is not my main source of income and more of a hobby for myself. With that said, it is my passion and I have invested a considerable amount of time, effort and money into it so these changes have been personally devastating.

It is no longer financially viable to keep the website up and running so I have made the decision to close / pause it. Sales can still be made by messaging me directly on either Instagram or Facebook.

My aim is to continue to develop, design and create more handmade jigs for a wider range of species so hopefully this is merely a setback for Cape Tackle's journey.

These will be going towards the Depth Charges and Twin Ganged Assist Depth Charges.

You know they are good when the commercial boys are buying them in bulk.

This special order is heading down to the South Coast to stack some dhuies.

The Octopoda just works! Bait or no bait, fished slow or fast, or simply stick it in the rd holder and just wait.
