With plenty of visitors expected in for the Farmers Fightback fundraiser event this weekend, we'll be opening our doors from 12 pm on Saturday 29 August, as well as our regular Friday 11-2 hours.
Our small shop is a delightful haven. Expect a warm welcome, a friendly chat. Kitchen Garden Mercantile is an unexpected haven full of gorgeous things that will keep you browsing.

Rupanyup Living Produce Co. We sell their delicious brownie and blondie mixes in the shop. This is what they look like, baked 🧡 Candied Marnoo orange peel on top and a dash of orange juice in the mix of this batch for some citrus tang.

It's been six months since I opened the doors to the shop in Marnoo.
A way to contribute to the community, and share my love of gardening and cooking.
It's been wonderful! Now I need to find a way for it to be sustainable. I love being open for lunch on Fridays, serving the best salad rolls in Marnoo, and yummy pies, sausage rolls and the occasional sweet treat.
But juggling weekend shop hours with a full time job is taking a toll... So while the website will be open day and night, and Vera the vending machine is always here for snacks and drinks, I'll be limiting our shop hours to: Friday lunch and one weekend a month for our kitchen and garden collection.
Still the perfect destination for a weekend browse with friends. Still a warm welcome and a collection curated to delight and inspire.
