IMend Tech Maroochydore

Hey everyone. Just a reminder. Please do NOT…leave your phones plugged in overnight! We’ve all done it before but this was a 4:30am wake up call in the bedroom. Room full of toxic smoke but happy to report everyone is ok…

We wanted to share something that’s been weighing on us lately.

Almost every week, someone walks into our store after being scammed - sometimes out of tens of thousands of dollars. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. The banks often send them to us to have their phone "cleaned" before they’ll reinstate internet banking access.

These are everyday people. Not careless, not clueless. Just caught in something clever, targeted, and devastating.

So, we’ve been thinking…
Maybe it’s time we do more than fix the tech.

We're considering hosting a free cybersecurity info night - either in-store or via a short webinar - just to give you and others in the community the tools to stay safe. No sales pitch, no scare tactics. Just straight-up knowledge to help you avoid the stuff we see too often.

We’re not locking anything in yet. Just gauging interest.

If that sounds like something you’d attend, comment "interested".

If enough people are keen, we’ll put our heads together (and probably argue about what to include 😅) to build a short, sharp session that’s actually worth your time.

Can someone help us ID this crispy fella?
He came in hot, pocketed some accessories, got caught, and reckoned he’d “pay later.”
We close in 30 mins…. next time, plan ahead 😏

🎉 1,000 Google Reviews - and still rocking a 4.9-star rating! 🎉

We’ve just hit a huge milestone across our two iMend Tech stores ... 1,000 Google reviews with an average rating of 4.9 stars. That puts us in a pretty exclusive club, and we couldn’t be prouder.

This achievement is a massive testament to the dedication, care, and hard work of our incredible team. Thank you Aaron J, Aaron B, Craig G, Daniel S, Barry B, Taylor W & all ex-employees for your input over the last 13 years of iMend.

Every review is a story of someone we’ve helped, and we’re genuinely grateful for every single one of you who’s taken the time to leave your feedback.

To celebrate, we’re taking the whole crew out for a well-earned night of dinner and drinks 🍻🍽️

Now we need your help! Where should we take them?

Thank you all from Luke & Josh - Co-founders of iMend

THE MASTERS JUST BANNED PHONES.
Would you survive a full day with no mobile?
(Yeah, we didn’t think so.)

Meanwhile… half of the Sunshine Coast is walking around with cracked screens, dead batteries, or phones slower than your nan’s old Nokia.

Let’s fix that.

At iMend, we bring dead tech back to life—fast, affordable, and no BS.
Whether it’s a phone, tablet, laptop or even a golf cart GPS—we’ve got you.

Comment below:
What’s the WORST thing you’ve had to deal with when your phone died at the worst time?

(We'll give away a FREE screen protector to the best stories. No joke.)

Walk in, drop off, stress less.
Your tech’s in good hands.

With mobile phones banned at the Masters, punters are forced to go back in time and use pay phones to make their calls home.

“Polished car, clean house… and a phone held together by a screen protector?”

Time to upgrade your standards.
