This beautiful French Mirecourt double bass - previously owned and played by the late Walter Sutcliffe, erstwhile principal bass in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra - has been recently restored in our workshop, plays easily and sounds fantastic. Please come and try it!

Here's a big scary beast ... just look at those F holes!!! This is the bass Count Dracula would have played!! But now, waiting for a new owner to caress its neck .... the price is attractive too.

yes we've been a bit quiet on social media because we've been so busy!
End of the year, end of school term, lots of gigs going on… basses falling apart all over the place!!!

SO .... right now, here are two lovely older instruments if you're looking for something with a SHORTER string length. Both are lightweight, speak easily, and great value.
