☕ Café Closed This Sunday

Just a quick heads-up that our café will be closed this Sunday.

However, Community Fellowship will still be gathering from 1pm, and we'd love to see you there.

In a world that can feel increasingly disconnected, there is something powerful about coming together as one body in Christ—to worship, pray, encourage one another, and simply do life together.

Whether you've been before or have never joined us before, there is a place for you here.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that The Light Café & Bookstore will be closed this Sunday, and Community Fellowship will not be gathering this week as we will be celebrating a much anticipated baby shower with family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming you back when the café reopens on Monday, and Prayer Wednesday will continue as usual this Wednesday.

Community Fellowship will be back again next Sunday, and we can’t wait to gather around the table together once more.

Thank you for your understanding, and we pray you have a wonderful and blessed week ahead ♥️

Every Wednesday we make ourselves available to sit with you where you’re at, to talk, to pray with you and for you, and to stand with you in whatever season you’re in.

No appointment necessary.
Just come as you are.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it.

Not every heavy feeling is from God.

And if we don’t learn the difference…
we’ll misread His voice.

“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1

So what does come from Him? Conviction.

Conviction:
• brings clarity
• exposes without shame
• draws you closer
• leads to alignment

Condemnation:
• accuses
• attacks identity
• produces shame
• creates distance

A simple way to recognise it:
If what you’re feeling draws you toward God → conviction
If it makes you withdraw or hide → condemnation

And Scripture is clear:
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear…” — 1 John 4:18

So if fear is telling you:
“God is mad at you”
That voice… isn’t His.

Many people spend their lives searching for meaning, identity, peace, and belonging, not realising that what they are actually searching for is God.

Psychologists often talk about the human need for meaning and purpose. Without meaning, people experience emptiness, anxiety, and restlessness.

With meaning, people can endure hardship, stress, and uncertainty with much greater resilience.

The Bible says that deep search for meaning inside every human heart is actually a search for God — and the incredible truth is that He is not far away from any of us.

You may feel far from God, but God is not far from you.

Sometimes the smallest step toward Him changes everything.

You don’t have to find God. You just have to tune in..... He is already near.
