That’s a wrap on IPCNC 2026.

Thank you to everyone who visited the GENTEC and Waterware stand in Wellington and took the time to connect with us throughout the conference.

We received an overwhelming response and appreciated the many meaningful conversations with infection prevention professionals, healthcare specialists and industry colleagues from across the region.

It was also a great opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas and discuss how thoughtful design and engineering can support infection prevention in healthcare environments.

A special thank you to the IPCNC team for bringing the industry together, and to our New Zealand partner, Waterware, for making the event such a great experience.

A great start to Day 1 at IPCNC 2026.

GENTEC and our New Zealand partner, Waterware, are pleased to be here in Wellington, connecting with healthcare professionals, infection prevention specialists and industry colleagues from across the region.

It’s been a great opportunity to share ideas and discuss the challenges facing healthcare environments today.

A highlight for today was our CEO, George Joukhadar, presenting:

“A Wholistic Approach to the Prevention of Biofilm Formation and Disturbance in Clinical Basins”

The presentation takes a wholistic look beyond the basin itself, exploring how touch free tapware, water flow, drainage, maintenance access, one-way valves, TMVs and point-of-use taps can work together as part of an integrated approach to biofilm prevention.

It’s been a valuable day of conversations, knowledge sharing and collaboration — and we’re looking forward to the rest of IPCNC 2026.
