Something I specialise in is breakages! And I get a lot 🫣 unfortunately! Whether it’s a break in a split grip handle or above the fore grip of a rod. Can even be broken near a guide or in the tip section! What ever the case… it can be fixed 🤩 and we don’t use metal rods or dowel. NO!! At Peninsula Rod Repairs we use exclusive materials and resins to form and reconstruct your prized rods so no drastic changes are made to the way they feel or handle when fishing 😉👌 what we do is unique to say the least!

What an incredibly busy summer period it’s been! Heaps of repairs completed… too many to post them all 😅

This customer had the first guide frame snapped on a Shimano-Fishing Southern Snapper, we replaced with a better quality Alps frame to suit and two tips that needed repairs. All finished in a day and delivered the following evening! Ready to get back out on the water for the weekend 👍👍 can’t beat that for service 🤩

This vintage “The Stanley” Jarvis walker needed a bit of TLC… fresh Fuji SiC guides and a good but light sand down to remove the old varnish to freshen her up 🤩 looks brand new now!

Had a customer bring in a Samurai Rods for a little tlc 🫶 New Fuji Kw guide, under bound for better durability and to stop the guide footings from further rubbing on the blank under bigger loads!

Same customer also had a few guides needing replacement on a Daiwa Australia Saltist Hyper 64CJ which we ended up rebinding all the guides for a fresh new look 👌🔥🔥🔥

G’day Guys
👇👇👇 Below are a just few recent works I’ve finished over the last weeks.

Plenty of guide repairs, 3 break repairs and a fully rebuilt split butt and rear grip which was broken just over an inch from the reel seat. I had to make a whole new reinforced carbon mandrel to fit up inside the reel seat… solid as a rock! and shaped a new rear grip to match for a perfect finish 👌
