This is one of two surprise gifts for my co-workers’ children. 👨‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
I’ve had the last 2 weeks off work injured and have been feverishly making jumpers as it’s just about all I can do to keep me occupied.
These two co-workers have children who turned 3 and 2 in July so while desperately looking for projects, I decided I’d make them each a lil jumper.
Sadly I ran out of the lovely green I was using for the ribbing so the cuffs had to be a different colour on this one. It still works, but it’s also difficult to know how much yarn you’re going to need sometimes!
Second gift jumper is in progress, hopefully finished tonight or maybe tomorrow morning. Hopefully I’ll be back at work soon to actually give them these gifts 🙈🤞🏼

My first two attempts at making garments. 🧶
The first is a baby cardigan 👶🏽 ~size 1, second is a kids jumper 👧🏼 ~size 4
Kids garments are so fun but figuring out the sizing, and how to alter the pattern to get it to the right proportions, is so hard 😰🤯

I’ve been working SO HARD on this flower patch lap blanket for my auntie and it’s finally done. So happy with the yarn colours I found and it’s so gorgeous 🤩
Got it done just in time for the warmer weather haha ✌🏼

Handmade baby things are so precious!!
I had so much fun crocheting these tiny newborn booties, scratch mittens and hat and packaging it all up to be given as a gift.
Natural cotton yarn to avoid irritation and a beautiful ‘peacock’ green to make a statement when baby arrives 😄
A lovely gift for a friend or family member who’s expecting or is a new parent!

Beanies are such great crochet projects, and so practical!
This is a custom order for a navy and black beanie with no pom pom. I did some experimenting with a new style and pattern and, after a few trials and errors, it came out really well!
Sometimes finding good yarn in the right colours is the hardest part. I want to give the people who buy my products or receive them as gifts a quality item in return for their support.

Another gorgeous custom order ready to be sent out!
This beanie and scarf set is in the customer’s netball club colours. I loved choosing the patterns and finding the perfect orange yarn to match the club’s colours.
Hopefully sports will be starting back up soon enough and these will be toasty warm for this coach on the sidelines!!

It’s finally done! 🥳
It’s been a busy week but I had the luxury of taking my time with this peg bag thanks to my patient mum 🥰
I LOVE how this turned out, and it’s the perfect shape and size for our infinite pegs. And all using op-shop yarn and an old coathanger 🌻

I finally found the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe and made them just how I’ve been wanting them for months!
Time to spend a grey afternoon munching on these guys while I work!
Working on this peg bag for my mum at the moment as hers has finally completely fallen apart after about 20 years!
I had the perfect yarn for it which I got from a local op shop last year for a bargain. Independent op shops as well as Vinnie’s are the best places to find cheap yarn that’s brand new 😍
