The story behind this collection…
I had a vision, so I booked flights and flew to China.
Arrived right before the textile phase of the canton fair 👀
There was a kiosk at the airport to print our passes for the fair!
The next morning we took a bus to the fair, it was HUGE
With over a million sqm, we had a lot of walking to do
One of my suppliers had a booth so we spoke dimensions, fabrics and spring/summer
Spent so much time going through fabric samples
Grabbed dinner and enjoyed a foot massage while watching rush hour 💁🏻♀️
Still needed to unwind before a big day. I had a day booked at the manufacturing warehouse and I got to see the sculpt sample LIVE
Got the the warehouse at around 10am
The first look, loved everything but it needed refining
Went with bone, taupe & chocolate 🙈
Racked up another 30k steps at the fair
Home timeee
Waited around a month for our sample and it wasn’t right..
Sleeves were off and so were the waist ties. We refined it and sent photos back
At last! Our stock arrived & I had no complaints alhamdulillah
Launched on pop up weekend!
