THE FIRST SOUNDCHECK PRODUCT LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT IS HERE!! 👇

Our very own 108 Songwriting Prompts - designed to spark inspiration and guide songwriters through their journey!

As a singing teacher - so many of my students really struggled with just the beginning stages of getting a song off the ground, and so many don't feel confident enough to share - and so, they never start.

I started playing fun songwriting games in my lessons to help my students who felt like this! I would do things like - write out song topics, put them in a hat, ask the students to pick one out and challenge them to write a song using that prompt in only ten minutes!

It was MAGIC! ✨
Students who had never written a song before, suddenly were coming up with incredible stories and melodies - in only 10 minutes!

And then, the penny dropped.

Limitation was actually driving more creativity, than if I gave them complete freedom.

As soon as my students had a specific prompt - they stopped overthinking themselves. Instead of second guessing every line and melody, they suddenly just let themselves flow!

With limitation and guidance, my students started becoming more specific and clear in their song concepts. Without a world of choices, they were no longer lost on where to start.

After seeing how well this worked in class, I knew it needed to exist. But - it literally doesn't. 😂

I thought - there are surely more people out there, that are feeling the same way as so many of my students.

And so... Our songwriting prompts were BORN!

They are similar to the scraps of paper I have been using in my lessons for years - but they're refined, formalised, tested, and proven to work over the last six months of sampling!

There are tonnes of different categories, like challenges, song topics, hook lines and more.
