Hey there gang, I figured it time to make this post due to my Facebook being lit up regarding guitars for upcoming tours.

With a heavy heart, I have had to severely scale down operations due to lack of work. Inflation and interest rates hit us all in different ways, tightening wallets quickly ceases the need for bespoke guitars.

As it stands, I have recently taken on a new job and apprenticeship for domestic carpentry and have been doing so for the past couple of months. Those who have visited me recently will be aware of this. SO yes, custom and branded builds will now be off the cards indefinitely. I will still be taking on work doing setups, repairs and mods - however larger ticket jobs i simply wont have the time or energy for.

So thanks to all of you that have supported me thus far, especially those of you pointing King Parrot my direction to build a guitar for an upcoming tour with the lords Pantera and Lamb of God - which is largely the reason for writing this today. If only :')

We'll see what the future holds, but, thanks for now!

Sufficiently dope Yamaha SG600 in for some mods and upgrades. Including a new TUSQ nut, new Orpheus Australian made pickups, new CTS pots and custom scratch plate.

Completion day for this 'BroadPoint' Flying V - code name - 'The Compelling Argument'.

Taken a bit of a different direction with this one in terms of timbers and construction. This one features largely different timbers from the standard. Featuring an African Mahogany top, two piece scarf jointed African Mahogany neck and centre body wedge. With a River Sheoak board and US Oak body wings.

Otherwise rest is pretty standard. 25.5" scale length, LACE Nitro Hemi pickups with coil split functions for both pups and Gotoh hardware.

Finalised! The completed and re prototyped 'Mandible', featuring my version of a teardrop burst. All specs remain the same, the major difference being the overall size of the body with some slight shape changes. I've based the body size around a Les Paul body for reference.

Otherwise gets a brief run down of the specs. Blackwood top, White Ash body, Queensland Maple neck, Blackbean board, Gotoh hardware and rawcous LACE Nitro Hemi pickups. 25.5" scale length. More details can be found on my website at wardencustomguitars.com.com

Finished! Custom BC Rich 'Shredzilla' body built to fit a pre existing Dean 7 string neck.

US White Ash body, black grain filler under blue stain. Fishman pickups with Gotoh hardware. I've also overlaid some Ash over the fact if the headstock and made some changes to the original headstock shape. Topped off with faux neck binding and new side dots.

Nice progress on this mostly Mahogany BroadPoint V, pretty much ready for sanding! Some clear coats on the Surf green Heron and finally received some Nitro to finish off the tear drop Mandible as well as the neck for the Shredzilla custom.

Took advantage of the warm weather today to get some painting done! Nice progress on the Gawdy Geoff! Very close to clear coats now.

Some more work on the Mandible re prototype (sorry about the dark photo)

Almost completed sanding and got the neck glued in on the custom short scale Heron as well.

Setup on this super nice Squire Strat this morning. Plays and sounds beautifully, especially after straightening up a crooked neck.

Initial gloss coats on the trans white Tele and some more pink sprayed on the Gawdy Geoff, just a tad more colour to go before clear coats!

Trans white finish on this Telecaster body, looking very fresh.

More colour on the Gawdy Geoff custom.

Finally some visible progress on a custom Heron bass order. Body and neck blanks sussed and initial board shaping started. This will be a short scale (31") with a gloss Seafoam green/blue finish which should look pretty special!

Custom BC Rich Shredzilla 7 body ready for hardware and electronics! Bashed this one together very quickly hence why it appeared out of nowhere. Refinished and re shaped a Dean 7 string neck to accompany it. Now blue with faux black binding.

A Warmoth Tele body in for a trans white finish. Grey grain filling and sealer coats on.

Also a complete re start on the the Gawd Lawd fluro custom! Funnily enough it was one of my first orders a few years ago. I learnt a lot about auto paints with the first attempt and was not very happy with the first outcome. I was able to convince the client to let me start again from scratch! Hence this photo coming out of the blue as well. Simply put, I over worked it and it was starting to look a bit gross. So we decided that with my much more developed experience and knowledge from the first build that we should try again. I always endeavour to give my customers the best products and outcomes possible and will never be afraid to say 'let's do it better'. Nobody is perfect and that includes myself. So very much looking forward to bringing this one back to life again!
