In Mauritius, "Le Flamboyant" is a gorgeous tree which blooms into a magnificent red colour in Summer. It's often referred to as "BoukΓ© BananΓ©" which is synonym of New Year.

The colour and pattern of this bag reminded me of its beautiful red petals!
