Our latest kit (frockit96C) has arrived and it's an easy to sew pull on tiered skirt in a cotton blend aimed at beginner sewists, or anyone who wants to make their own fashion forward skirt. The pattern is McCalls 8066 which was previously issued as McCalls7604, and also known as (hard to keep up right😋).

McCalls have provided instructions that are very easy to follow, with details on how to make gathers and insert an elastic waistband that beginner sewists can understand. We've paired this pattern with a blended cotton fabric that is easy to sew and wear. The fabric is navy blue, and has a small self chequered pattern.🏁

We've created this kit in view C, but have chosen not to use contrasting fabrics. This kit will provide you with enough fabric to make up any of the views in the pattern if you choose to make one of the shorter versions (views A and B) or the longest version without the tiers. 👌

Well hello, long time no see 👋

We've been busy working on some exciting new project which we will be sharing with you soon, but in the meantime, we've updated one of our most popular kits for you.  

Frockit 64C, 's or is back in the black 1" poly cotton gingham which is perfect for this warmer weather🌞 🏜🏖.  We only have a few of these kits available, so if you're itching to sew this frock, now is the time. 🕰 The kit comes with the  pattern, fabric, thread, buttons and binding (absolutely everything you need in a neat package 🎁) and is shipped using Australia Post Express shipping, so you don't need to wait too long for this one to arrive💌

has been given a new number -  , and we've given our kit a new look to go with it.    Frockit 18A now has four new dreamy floral rayons as options in this kit, which will be perfect for the warmer weather that will be coming our way.🌴🏖

Despite the number changing, this pattern won't be going away any time soon. If you are one of the few sewists who haven't tried this very popular pattern, now would be a good time to give it a go, and enjoy the convenience of receiving everything you need in the kit. 🎁

This week we've gone to two opposite sides of the spectrum with a pants pattern that has fabric with  a timeless look, and one that is very 60's 👖  Kit 89 is the recently released 6660  which is a high waisted, slightly flared pair or pants with patch pockets and belt carriers.  Our fabric choices for this kit are a navy blue twill, and a black and grey stretch bengaline with small concentric circles.  We may be channeling Austin Powers with this one, but it's so much fun 😁

Last week we gave you a sneak peek 👀 at our new kit, and now we are happy to share that kit with you.  Kit 87B features Burda 6573 view B which is a classic wide legged cropped pants pattern👖.

We've paired this with a beautiful, functional black suiting with a touch of lycra, giving you comfort as well as style 💃 This kit is available on our website now, and remember, we have express post, so you won't have to wait long to receive your kit.

Tis the season for pants!👖Our new kit (86A&B) pairs a classic trouser style with some super comfortable stretch bengaline - a match made in heaven 😇.  Simplicity 8957 is a pattern for slim legged pants  with a fly front, side pockets and belt carriers.  We have two options for this kit - a dark denim blue colour with tiny white dots, and camel coloured speckles on a black background. 

Both are a lot of fun, and did we mention they are comfortable?💞These kits are available now on our website, and because we use Express Post, you won't have to wait long to get stuck right in to making up this kit.📮
