Throwing it back to Dan and Laura's autumn wedding in Melbourne 🍂🤍

Autumn is such a special season for weddings here in Melbourne. There's something about that golden light, the cooler air, and the rich, earthy tones of the season that just makes everything feel so warm and romantic.

For Dan and Laura, we created a look that felt classic yet effortlessly laid-back - a beautiful mix of native and rustic florals with deep burgundy tones woven through earthy, complementary textures. Their his-and-hers flowers were designed to feel cohesive and intentional, with a pocket buttonhole that matched the bouquet perfectly.

Their day flowed from a timeless church ceremony through to a relaxed and joyful reception at Welcome to Thornbury - adorned with lush greenery and those signature rustic, earthy tones throughout.

For Brent and Jenny's ceremony at thepanamadiningroom, we created flower pillars to frame them within the venue's stunning and iconic arched window - a perfect blend of heritage architecture and romantic florals in classic reds, pinks, and whites. At the base, candles added warmth and intimacy to the space, creating a ceremony backdrop that felt both grand and deeply personal.

This is one of our favourite things to do - using flowers to enhance and celebrate the architecture of a space, rather than competing with it. When the venue has this much character, the florals should work in harmony with it.

For Brent and Jenny’s reception at Panama Dining Room, we designed a mix of bud vases and modern ikebana-inspired arrangements that brought their colour palette to life - deep romantic reds, soft pinks, whites, and fresh greens.

The ikebana approach gave us clean lines and intentional placement, while the bold reds kept the romance front and centre. It’s that perfect balance between classic florals and contemporary design - timeless but never predictable.

The candles were the final touch, adding warmth and depth to the space while complementing the florals beautifully. When colour, design, and candlelight work together like this, the result is magic.

Modern romance 🌹 When you choose florals that are bold, intentional, and unapologetically romantic, they become more than decoration - they become part of the story.

For Brent and Jenny's reception at Panama Dining Room in Fitzroy, we designed a mix of arrangements that blended classic romantic florals with a modern garden style-approach through the use of bud vases and ikebana-inspired smaller arrangements. To bring it all together, we paired the arrangements with heritage rose-coloured candles that softly complemented the deep reds, soft pinks, and whites of the flowers.

Candles are one of our favourite ways to add warmth, depth, and atmosphere to a reception space. When they're thoughtfully matched to your florals, they elevate the entire tablescape and create that soft, romantic glow as the evening unfolds.

Carlton Gardens magic 🌹

Before their ceremony and reception, Brent and Jenny made their way to Carlton Gardens for their first look and portraits in front of the iconic Royal Exhibition Building.

There's something magical about starting your wedding day in one of Melbourne's most beautiful heritage spaces - the architecture, the lush gardens, and that perfect midday light. It's the kind of backdrop that makes your flowers feel even more special.

For their wedding party flowers we used classic romantic colours - deep reds, soft pinks, whites, and fresh greens. These colours definitely popped and held their own against the majesty of the building while still feeling intimate and personal in their hands.

Anhie and Denise, we were so honoured to be part of your day 🌈🤍

When Anhie came to us with her vision - soft, blushing pinks with a very special request for Denise - we knew this was going to be something truly meaningful to create.

Anhie chose our Blushing palette for her bridal bouquet - think the softest shades of blush and pink, lush and romantic. But for Denise's buttonhole, Anhie requested a rainbow rose - a beautiful nod to their community and a symbol of their love and pride.

And because we couldn't resist - we tucked a rainbow rose into Anhie's bouquet too, a little surprise to tie their flowers together and reflect just how perfectly they complement each other.
