Introducing the Leadbetter Guitar Co GT. Our tribute to the classic Australian amplifier company, Goldentone.

For those of you unaware, the current revival that’s currently developing here in Melbourne, Australia is indeed the work of Leadbetter Guitar Co. New Goldentone products, like the Gentleman 12w Valve Combo seen in this photo, should start to be seen on the market later this year!

The Leadbetter GT utilises our standard peacekeeper “Dano style” ply and Masonite body along with our fast QLD Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The new finish is called Matte Alabaster and on GT we’ve also colour matched the headstock. We’ve loaded it up with our Goldentone LBR1 Alnico 5 PAF in the bridge pickup and the newly developed LBR6 Alnico 6 humbucker in the neck. As sweet a neck pickup as I’ve ever heard!

The GT also features our new all brass bridge for increased character and sustain. The custom control plates for volume and tone and toggle switch are adorned with Goldentone amp faceplate art that is classic and cool.
